David Farrow has built his life around the values of service, leadership, and community. A distinguished educator and civic volunteer, David brings decades of experience and a steadfast commitment to improving lives across Ontario.

After graduating with two bachelor’s degrees and earning Dean’s List honours at Mount Allison University, David embarked on a long career in education. As Principal with the Rainbow District School Board from 2000 to 2017, he championed excellence in learning and inclusivity, earning accolades such as the Outstanding Contribution to the Co-Curricular Program Award and the Council of Exceptional Children (Chapter 503) Appreciation Award.

David’s dedication extends beyond the classroom. He has served on the Board of Maison McCulloch Hospice for eight years—three as Chair—and has led charitable initiatives with the CIBC Run for theCure, Sudbury Food Bank, Canadian Breast Cancer Society, and Larch Street Kids. His community-building efforts earned him Provincial recognition, including:

  • CIBC Run for the Cure National Award (raising over $500,000 for cancer research)
  • Celebration 2010 Community Sport Volunteer Award


Holding an MBA, David is the CFO and co-owner of FarExGeoMine Ltd. He also chairs the finance committee for Maison McCulloch Hospice, demonstrating his financial acumen and organizational leadership.

Elected in 2022 as Trustee for the Rainbow District School Board and now Chair of the Board, David continues to advocate for equitable education and strong governance. If elected as Executive Vice-President of the Ontario Liberal Party, he promises to:

  • Champion grassroots renewal of local riding associations
  • Lead cultural revitalization within the OLP
  • Be a strong voice for rural and northern Ontario
  • A strong advocate for seniors & youth


David credits his accomplishments to the unwavering support of his wife Catharine, a respected geologist, and their son Wilson. His approach to politics is straightforward, principled, and grounded in hard work. Together, with the Executive Council, David will help lead a transformational chapter inthe OLP’s future—one defined by renewal, revitalization, and reconnection.
